This is such a fun and simple card to create! The inspiration is from this week’s Make the Cards Challenge. Here’s the link to the challenge so you can join us in the fun.

First I ink blended Distress Oxide colors of Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Peacock Feathers through a stencil. This stencil just so happens to remind me of mermaid scales.

Once I was done stenciling the colors, I coved the entire panel with Versamark ink. Then I coated it in Kaleidoscope Powder from Maker Forte. This gave it that super shiny and glimmery look. I trimmed the panel down and popped it up using foam tape on a top folding note card.

For the sentiment I die cut the word ‘smile’ 3 times and stacked it up then heat embossed the words ‘I miss your’ from the coordinating stamp set.

To finish this card off I added a few pearls.
