Hello! Today we are creating another Slimline card using one of my digital cut files and Catherine Pooler’s Grace in Bloom stamp set. I’ve fallen in love with these slimline cards!

The products used in this project are linked at the bottom of this post.

The first thing I did for this card was to cut the card base and stamp the cover. I used the Beehive background stamp and the new Distress Ink Speckled Egg. At the same time my Silhouette was cutting out the Slated Cover Plate.

Next, I stamped all of the flowers in Copic safe black ink. I used Copic markers to color each of the images. Then, I used the coordinating die to cut out each image.

In the video I demonstrate how I dry fit the layout of everything and use Glad Press’n Seal to keep it in place. This allowed me to add adhesive to the back of everything all at once. It is so much easier than trying to keep the same layout and putting everything back.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Grace in Bloom stamp set in black ink and then trimmed it out. I didn’t pop anything up on this card so to add a little depth to the card I added a little touch of glitter to the insides of each of the flowers. Finally, I used Glossy Accents to add rain drops all along the card front.
