This is probably one of my favorite Christmas cards I created this year.  It is so simple!  The teal, grey, and silver combination is just so elegant!  For the Christmas Wishes Wreath Card, I used products I had on hand and some different products to create it.

The first thing I did was to cover a piece of 80lb Neenah Solar white cardstock with a double-sided adhesive sheet.  Using the Simon Says Stamp Ring Wreath Wafer Die,  I diecut the wreath with the Spellbinders Platinum die cutting machine.  I punched out all of the little circles and extra pieces.  Next, I pulled the adhesive release paper from the outline of the wreath and placed a sheet of Deco Foil over it.  I used my die cutting machine to apply pressure to the diecut and the Deco Foil so the foil would stick to the diecut.  Run it through without a die and it’s probably a good idea to use a piece of typing paper between the plates and the diecut.

Next, I die cut snowflakes using the My Favorite Things Snowflakes Die-namics in three different colors of  teal cardstock.  I covered each of the die cuts with Clear Wink of Stella.  Offset each snowflake in a stack to adhere each snowflake in the center.  I added a drop of Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the center of the top snowflake.

The patterned paper I used was from several Christmases ago.  It is from Stampin’ Up!  Use a stitched frame die to cut the panel.

Finally, the MISITI allowed me to align my sentiment exactly where it should be without making a mistake.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder.  To get a super smooth finish, stamp and emboss twice.   I adhered the grey patterned paper on a side fold landscape 100lb Neenah Solar White card base.  Use tiny dots of adhesive on the back side of the wreath to adhere it to the panel.   I took some silver thread and bunched it up to place behind the snowflakes.  Then I adhered everything down with liquid adhesive.

Let me know what you think of this quick and elegant card in the comments below.  I’d love to hear from you!  Also, be sure to check out my previous cards in my Christmas card series.
