Adding Bling

There are so many ways to add shine and bling to your cards. For my card, I used glitter paper and gemstones.

I die cut the heart from dark pink glitter paper. This is the newer kind of glitter paper that doesn’t get everywhere. The heart needed a little bit of help to be a main element on the card. I die cut two more hearts from white cardstock and then stacked the die cuts together.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock. I popped it up over the edge of the panel with the heart. This allows your eye to see the entire card.

Finally, I added clear gems with silver backs around the heart. I’m right handed so I tend to shift everything to the right for sentiments and embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple but totally blingy card! Give it try!
