Christmas candles and lace edges.  What says Christmas more?  Tis the Season evokes childhood memories of me and mom decorating the house for Christmas.  Mom always put those electric taper candles in every window.  This card has plenty of clean, simple white space and can be quickly reproduced.

Tis The Season

First, I stamped the sentiment online using my MISTI in black ink.  The sentiment is from a hostess Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Merry Patterns.   I did stamp the outline several times to get it nice and dark.

I stamped the inside of the sentiment in School House Red from Simon Says Stamp.  Cherry Cobbler or Real Red from Stampin’ Up! will work for this too.  I added some Wink of Stella to the sentiment.

I stamped the candle outline from the Merry Patterns stamp set in black as well.  The inside of the candles is two different stamps so you can stamp it in two different colors.  I stuck with traditional Christmas colors.  The yellow looking color is Brilliance Galaxy Gold pigment ink.  You will want to let this ink dry for several hours so it doesn’t smear or you can set it with your heat tool.  The green is Fern Green from Simon Says Stamp but Garden Green from Stampin’ Up! or any green you have in your stash will work.

The candle flames are stamped in Duckling from Simon Says stamp but Daffodil Delight from Stampin’ Up! would be beautiful as well.

The last thing I did was to take a 4 1/4 x  5 1/2 inch panel of Real Red cardstock and cut the top portion of the card.  I used the Concord & 9th Select a Size diecut borders.  I popped this up on some foam tape.

This card came together so easy peezy!  See below from some of the products used in this card.
