Hey! I’m making two very different styles of Mother’s Day cards using the same colors. The color inspiration is from Make the Cards Challenge this week. This week’s challenge is a special two week challenge in partnership with Double Trouble Challenge. I hope you check it out.

For the first card I die cut all of the dies from four different colors of cardstock. I layered four flowers and four leaves but only used two each on the first card. I put the rest in the pocket to make another card later.

I used some black and white patterned paper along with a simple stripe of black cardstock on the bottom of the card front. Then layered the flowers and leaves. For a finishing touch, I added some iridescent sequins.

The second card, uses the same color pallet. I used a Concord & 9th Turnabout stamp to create a pretty background. Then I used one of my Scripty Sentiments and layered the top layer of mom. I added a sentiment from a Pinkfresh Studio Simple Sentences. The stamped panel is trimmed down and mounted on a top folding note card.
