Departure Part I – My Favorite Things Best of Luck
One of my dear friends Dawn got a new job and had to move about 3 hours away. I was sad that she was moving but so happy about her new job. My Favorite Things Best of Luck stamp set seemed to be the absolute best stamp and die set for this card. At the time I posted this card, it was my last day of work.

My Favorite Things Best of Luck
I started with some Neenah Solar White 80lb paper cut down to 4-1/2 X 5-1/2″. I stamped the little girl with her suitcase using MFT Stamps’ Black Licorice Hybrid ink. (Dawn is not only leaving this job but she’s moving too. Sad day!) Then I stamped her again on a full stick Post-It note and fussy cut the image out to use as a mask. I had to break out the Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick to stencil a background. The stencil is from My Favorite Things Stamps. It’s the Wonky Chevron stencil. I colored the image with Copic markers (B000, B00, B10, and I didn’t write down my browns but any of your favorite combos will work). I cut down the panel using the A2 size Double Stitched Rectangle from Honeybee Stamps. For the banner, I just blended on both of the same Distress Inks and made sure it was really really dry. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark then added white embossing powder. I melted it with my heat tool. Added some Wink of Stella and she is finished. The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb paper. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it.
