Ink Blending Stencil Background
Hello! Today we are making a beautifully simple card that packs a colorful punch. But the most important part of this card is the message: “We are better together”! And that’s absolutely true! We are all so much better together. Hold that message in your heart.
Watch the video below to see how quickly the card comes together. All of the products are listed at the bottom of the post.
I’m using Stampin’ Up! ink and blending brushes for this but you can use any inks you want to. Distress Oxide inks are great for ink blending. I like to use domed ink blenders for Oxide inks.
Also, try this with some different stencils. See how they turn out. Honestly, if it’s a rainbow, I think everything will be perfect.
First, tape your cardstock panel to the back of the stencil. Just a little bit of washi tape is fine. I started in the top left corner with red. And moved around the cardstock in clockwise rainbow order.
Next, I die cut the largest of the images from the A Study in Watercolor coordinating dies set. I did that twice and glued them together. Then I die cut the together sentiment in silver glitter cardstock. Also, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it.
As a final touch, I added the iridescent flat back sequins.
Such a super simple card. I hope you give it a try with some of your stencils.
