What do you say when the third (and probably not final but…) departure from the department is moving to Georgia to open a sweets shop?  Best Wishes!  I created the Pink and Main Best Wishes card using the coordinating stamp and die set called “Wishes” along with the Airmail and Scentsational die and stamp sets.

Now, I will admit I forgot to write down the Copic colors I used to color everything.  Oops!  I don’t have a favorite or a go-to group of Copic colors I use all the time.  I usually pick a color then find two or three others to go with it so I end up with the light, medium, and dark that will complete the look I’m going for.

First, I wanted the stamped and colored images to be the focal point but still have a grounding.  The background is a scene builder set from My Favorite Things Die-namics.  I also used the Wonky Stitches Rectangle dies from My Favorite Things to create the stitched lines around the edge and cut down the panel to the appropriate size.  This allowed for a simple white border around the entire card front.

Next, I colored all of the selected images with Copics.  I cut all of the images out using the coordinating dies.  Some of the images adhered flat down to the background and some were popped up with foam tape.  Then, I added Ranger black and white Enamel Accents to the mushroom and the ladybugs.  Finally,  I added lots of Wink of Stella on the image for that added shine.
