It’s been a long while since I was able to create a card for the Make the Cards Challenge. Life just got super crazy and I got sick, got well, and got sick again. Stupid pollen. But anyway…

This challenge is to create a masculine card. What better time to make your father’s day card?

This card measures 8.5″ x 3.75″. I made the large “DAD” in Silhouette Studio by typing the word DAD in a font I liked and then creating offsets until I had all of the layers I wanted. It’s six layers.

I’m using shades of blue cardstock with a pearl cardstock and a bright pop of orange.

The background is a custom stencil from a layer of the Peekaboo Diamond Background in my Etsy Shop. It is stenciled on a 3.5″ x 8.5″ panel centered on the card base.
