Do you know someone that is stressed out and needs a little reminder to relax and take time for themselves?  There’s nothing like a relaxing bath with a glass of wine!  My Favorite Things ‘Pamper Yourself’ stamp captures that feeling perfect! It’s an older stamp set but I still love it. The Relax and Pamper Yourself card is relaxing for the creator too because it’s all about Copic coloring.

Relax and Pamper Yourself Card

First, I stamped the main image on Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  Then, I used the coordinating Die-namics to cut out the main image.  There are additional stamps with the set that includes sentiments and images.  The wine bottle was the perfect fit and I colored that in with Copics as well.

I decided the background should be slightly darker but still coordinate with the colors used in the main image.  A dark teal fits the bill.  The coordinating die for the Pamper Yourself cuts out the image but also leaves a perfectly stitched line on the negative space so I used that to cut out the dark teal.

Next, I adhered the dark teal to the card base.  The card needed some dimension, so I popped up the main image with craft foam and adhered in the open space of the dark teal.

For the sentiment, I stamped a black cardstock banner in Versamark ink with some white embossing powder.  Be sure to use an antistatic powder tool so embossing powder doesn’t stick where it shouldn’t.  I melted the embossing powder with my heat tool until nice and smooth.  Next, I popped up the sentiment with some foam tape.

A little Wink of Stella in silver on the mirror frame for some glitz and some Ranger Glossy Accents on the bubbles for some additional shine.
