Are you a Doctor Who fan? I am! And I had to create a TARDIS Card! My favorite Doctor is Ten (played by the very yummy David Tennant).

I’ve created a video to demonstrate how to put this card together. In my example, I’ve also included a digi stamp by The Greeting Farm Dressy Edward. This digi stamp looks so much like the Tenth Doctor! I mean look at that hair!!

I designed the card in Silhouette Studio, however, the file is SVG so you’ll be able to use it any cutting machine program.  Be sure to download the file somewhere you can find it easily.

Next, pick out your colors of cardstock. I used Stampin’ Up!s Pacific Point but I’ve included several other options at the bottom that will be perfect too! To resize any element of this card, put all of the elements in one project and resize them together. If you don’t do this you’ll run the risk of nothing lining up correctly.

The dotted lines within the card base are score lines.  You can choose to leave the dotted lines and use those to fold in the doors or make the dotted lines no-cut and use a scoring board to score them yourself.  I highly recommend using the score lines already there.

In addition to the pieces of cardstock, you’ll need to cut two pieces of vellum to 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. I cut four white window panel outlines to add additional depth to the front of my card.

Watch the video to see how to assemble the card. It’s really simple.

For additional depth, I added Black Soot ink to the edges of the doors, door panels, and the edges of the card.

I Copic colored Dressy Edward to look like the Tenth Doctor and then fussy cut the image out. When you fussy cut something like this, be sure to run a black marker around the edge to hide the white edge.
