Today we’re creating this fun snowman card! I haven’t made a snowman card in a long time. Nor have I made a snowman in a long time. Hmmm. That will need to be corrected with our first snow!

This is a simple card to create. So let’s get started.

Snowman Kisses

I’m using the Mr. Frost die set from Tim Holtz and the Retro Snowflake stamp set by Stamper Anonymous.

You’ll need two pieces of warm pink cardstock, a panel of black cardstock, a panel of pool cardstock, and a panel of white cardstock. I used some markers to color in the brown, orange, and dark pink from the white cardstock.

First, trim the white cardstock panel down by cutting off a little less than half of it length ways. Die cut the top layer of the snowman, the arms, nose, and the top layer of the scarf from the larger section of white cardstock.

Next, die cut the hat and the middle layer from the black cardstock and the scarf and hat band from the pink cardstock. Die cut the bottom layer from the pool cardstock.

Color in the nose, arms, and top layer of the scarf with markers.

Now, use your antistatic powder tool on the smaller piece of white cardstock and stamp a snowflake in Versamark ink. Coat the snowflake is Speckled Egg Distress Glaze or pink embossing powder. I did these separately since there is two different colors. Don’t want that embossing powder to get mixed together.

Glue all of the layers of the snowman together and sit him aside for a moment.

Adhere the snowflake panel to the right side of the full panel of pink cardstock with foam tape. Without any adhesive place the snowman on the front of the card. This will allow you to determine where to stamp the sentiment. Use white embossing powder for the sentiment.

Finally, glue the snowman to the white snowflake panel. You might need to add a little foam tape to some of the parts hanging over the white.

This was a fun card to create. Hope you enjoyed it!
