First, I cut my panel and frame from heavy-weight white cardstock. Then, I ink blended my panel using Distress Oxide Ink in Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire. I got this color combo from Amy R. These aren’t colors I would’ve naturally put together but when I saw them it was pretty obviously they needed to go together.
Then I cut the sentiment three times from black cardstock and stacked the words together. Next, I coated the words in embossing ink and coated them in black embossing powder.
I glued the panel down to the card base, and then used the negative space of the inside part of the frame to make sure the frame was square on the front and glued the frame down.
I found a sentiment in my stash that I loved and added it with some foam tape.
