The first thing I did was to foil the background. I used the boldest tip of my Foil Quill set and green foil from Spellbinders. Be sure you’re using heat foil and not Deco foil. Hot foil has a bonding agent that’s activated with heat. Deco foil doesn’t.
I do use the metal magnetic mat when I foil using my Silhouette and Foil Quill. It does give better results. If you don’t have a metal mat, put a piece of chipboard under the cardstock you are using. Something stiffer than just the mat and cardstock does give better results for your foiling.
Then I Copic colored a few quick elements and popped them up on the front of the card.
The shamrock background makes for a super quick card.
Don’t have a Foil Quill? Use a marker or pen instead to draw with your Silhouette or Cricut. In Silhouette Studio make sure you set the line weight to 2 do draw it.
