Rainbow Diamond Background
Hello! Today I’m using a background stamp a little bit differently. It’s going to be the focal point of the card. We’re doing so fun simple Copic coloring too!
Watch the video below to see how easy this card comes together. All of the products used in this card are listed at the bottom of this post.
The first thing I did was to stamp the background image is really dark black Copic safe ink. I’m using the Maker Forte Eclipse Black ink these days. It’s really dark and dry instantly with no smearing.
Next, I colored each row in a different color using Copic markers. You can use whatever alcohol markers you have on hand.
TIP: Don’t want to color each line? Ink blend a panel in rainbow order and then stamp on top of it.
TIP: Instead of markers, use colored pencils or even watercolor!
Then, I stamped the flower image. Leave this in black and white. This would be pretty awesome stamped on black cardstock with white embossing too.
To finish off this card I added diamond on all of the circles on the background.
I hope you look into your background stamps and see how you can get more use from your stash.
