Hello! Have you ever seen a card you loved but didn’t have the stamps to make the exact card? Today I’m going to show you how to take one card design and create four awesome cards.

The other week I saw a beautiful card by Laura Bassen and really wanted to recreate the card. It was for a new stamp and die release from Pinkfresh Studios so I didn’t have the stamps or dies to make the card. So, I decided that I really liked the design more than the stamps and dies used.

I made a simple card sketch to get the idea of the card and put my own spin on it. Here’s the card sketch.

I made these four cards based on that one card sketch. Even though I used circles to represent stamped images, I used very different stamps to create these cards.

Tip: Don’t have stamps that you want to use? Use die cut shapes.

The key to this card design is to pop-up each stamps and die cut element on the card then fill in the spaces.

Tip: Don’t have jewels? Use buttons, Nuvo Drops, enamel dots, or even splatters from paint.

I followed the same process for each card. First, I stamped all of the images and die cut them out with their coordinating dies. Then, I placed each image around the card panel. Once I had everything where I wanted it, I added foam tape to each one and attached them to the card front panel. Next, I started to place the largest of the jewels, the middle sized jewels, and then smallest jewels. Lastly, I added a sentiment.

Tip: Be sure to let some of the images hang off the edges and trim them away using scissors.
