Today we’re are Copic coloring some flowers using the colors inspired by this week’s Make the Cards Challenge.

Watch this quick video to see this card come together. All of the products used are listed at the bottom of this post including the Copic colors used.

Here’s the thing about using inspiration from a card making challenge. It’s inspiration! I would never have thought to use blue, yellow/gold, and green together. But as soon as I saw it, I thought about flowers.

Also, a few weeks ago Make the Cards Challenge used blue, yellow, and red. I love seeing how changing one color can change the entire feel and look of the card!

Notice, I colored the greenery in solids. I didn’t put in the shading and detail because those items are in the background. The larger flowers are the star of the show so I put the time and effort in those.

The centers of each of the yellow flowers has a touch of dark gray behind the gold Wink of Stella. It’s added as little dots instead of coloring in solid colors. This adds a little bit of depth.

  1. Gorgeous card! I love that you put the details in the larger main flower. That is a great idea and a time saver if you have a lot to color. Love it!
