This week we are looking at black and white on cards.  I think we tend to shy away from this combination because it’s a very bold statement.  I love using black and white together in my cards and then add just a pop of color.  All of the products used in the cards are linked at the bottom of this post.

Using Black and White in Your Cards

Black and white isn’t just black and white.  There are various shades of grey that create dimension between black and white.   Why not use various shades of grey to stamp your favorite layering flower stamps.  Then compliment the flowers on a white card base with a black sentiment.  Then add some bling!

Patterned papers in black and white are amazing!  Check out the cute little skunk with the pop of red!  Add shine with some Glossy Accents and pop-up the adorable sentiments and stamped images to create visual interest.

Grab a stencil and some embellishing mouse or glitter paste to create your own background on a black or white panel!  I love embellishing mouse on black cardstock!!
