Hello! Today we’re making a shaped birthday card using the Birthday Cake Card SVG! It includes the card base and all of the elements for it. It even has a frame for the cake part so you can make it a shaker card if you want.

Watch the video below to see how I created this cards.
I wanted to color my cake so I used white cardstock to cut all of my parts. You can of course use different colors of cardstock and add inking for depth.
Don’t forget this card can be used as a shaker card too with the frame for the cake part. Add foam tape right under the bottom layer of icing to keep the shaker bits in two different places.
I colored the cake in browns for a chocolate cake and the icing is cream cheese. I used a stamp and embossing powder to create texture on the icing.
I colored all of the pieces and glued everything together. I finished off the candles with a bit of Glossy Accents and Nuvo Glitter Gloss.
Don’t forget to check out these cards from Niki and Alysha. Niki created this gorgeous card using the Eucalyptus Stems SVG. She has all of the instructions on her blog. Click here to check it out.
Alysha used the Wonky Frames SVG to create a wonderful background for her fall inspired pumpkins along with the Boo sentiment! You can see other creations from Alysha on her blog here.
