We’re going back to school with a pop-up box card using Echo Park products!  Echo Park isn’t a company that I think of when it comes to stamps and dies.  I’ve always thought of them as a company that makes amazing patterned papers for scrapbooking.  I was so excited when I saw these coordinating products for a back to school themed card!!!  All of the products used in this card are listed below including the 12×12 papers.  There’s also a video linked below to see how this pop-up box card came together.

Back to School Pop-up Box Card with Echo Park

The Pop-Up Box Card

Pop-up Box Card with Echo Park

Of course, you can’t (easily) create a pop-up box card without the Lawn Fawn Pop-up Box die set!  It makes creating a pop-up box card soooo stinking simple!

The first thing you want to do is die cut two of the card bases out of some heavyweight cardstock.  I used Neenah 80 lb paper for this.  The colored cardstock from Echo Park is great for layering on cards but it isn’t exactly heavy enough to create the pop-up box on its own.

Next, cut two sets of the card base from the coordinating red Echo Park cardstock and two sets from the teal coordinating cardstock.  Cut apart each of these at the fold lines created by the die.

Die cut the cross brace pieces that go inside of the card.  I like to put three inside of my pop-up box cards.  Use heavyweight cardstock for this too.

Now, assemble your card.  See my video below on how to quickly and easily assemble the card base.

Decorating with Echo Park

I stamped a bunch of the images from the Echo Park Back to School stamp set using Lawn Fawn’s Jet Black ink on Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock.  Then, I used my Copic markers to color all of the images.  I cut all of the images out using the coordinating dies.

Adhere the colored panels we cut previously to the flaps and outside panels of the assembled pop-up box.

I wanted to make sure all of the images would be visible in my pop-up box card so cut down thin strips of acetate to adhere my images on.  I just liquid glue and strong double sided tape for this.

That’s it.  Super simple card!  There’s lots of die cutting for this card but it so worth every bit of it. I hope you’ll give these Echo Park products a try!
