A Red Letter Christmas Ornament Card
Christmas ornaments hanging from the Christmas tree. What does that image mean to you? It reminds me of my family and twinkling lights. This Christmas card brings together the traditional colors of Christmas as well as the Christmas ornament that you’d see on your tree. I used products from Spellbinders, Lawn Fawn, and Avery Elle to bring this quick card together.

A Red Letter Christmas Ornament Card
The Spellbinders Monthly Small Die kit had this latticed centerpiece die that I loved and wanted to use on a Christmas card. The perfect pairing with this background was the Stitched Ornament die from Lawn Fawn. You don’t have to use one brand of products to create your cards. Use what you have and what you like.
The card base is Neenah 110 lb cut and scored to create a top folding note card.
I die cut the background from some green cardstock using the Spellbinders Small Die of the month. Next, I die cut all of the pieces of the Stitched Ornament die from white cardstock and red cardstock. The string and the top of the ornament needed some shine so I added some gold and silver Gilding Flakes to each. Just apply some tape runner to each of the pieces so that it covered the entire piece, then rub the Gilding Flakes all over it.
I paper pieced the Christmas ornament together and adhered it to the green background die cut. Add some Nuvo Gloss White and White Blizzard Drops to add some pizzaz to the ornament.
I knew I wanted a banner across my ornament and dug out my Avery Elle Banner die and stamp set. The banner in this set was slightly too big so I just moved the die top to where I wanted it across the top of the sentiment and did the same on the bottom.
I added everything to the card base and it is complete. A simple card, right!
