June is coming up and so is Father’s Day. It’s the one time during the year that we card makers stop and think about making cards for the guys in our lives.

And scratch our heads.

We get totally stumped on color combinations and embellishments. What’s a card maker to do?

I love both of these cards for their simplicity. The top hat and monocle are fun too. Both of these cards are just a few die cuts and a stamp. The colors are subtle and can be adapted to create a quick Father’s Day card.

Now both of these cards are super fun. I LOVE the jacket with a nice sweater card. That would be a great idea for a young professional dad. The tool belt card is super amazing too. It’s the perfect card idea for those dads that are always tinkering with something.

Not entirely sure what to do? You can never go wrong with a plaid! Okay I’ll admit I’d love to get a plaid card myself. I love all things plaid too. There are tons of patterned papers and stamps to create plaid backgrounds available.
